In 1997 HAKA MOSCOW carried out a complete program of renovation works at the company’s offices in Stoleshnikov Lane, Moscow, involving premises of 1,800 square metres in total. These works involved the system of internal office partitions and ceilings; the operating functions of the building engineering systems, including water supply, sewerage, autonomous ventilation systems & air conditioning; installation of kitchen apparatus; organizing the power supply; interior lighting and low-voltage systems; the entire spectrum of finishing works; in addition to works on installing fireplaces and saunas, which were specially built with timber imported from Finland before being shipped to Moscow and installed on-site.

On November 26th, 1997, His Excellency Martti Ahtisaari, the President of Finland, in the company of the Senior Management team of NESTE, senior Russian officials and partners celebrated the formal opening of the new NESTE offices in Moscow.
